Fly Fishing just as you’ve imagined
Where We Fish
Three Remarkable Rivers With
Endless Fly Fishing Opportunities
Accented by overhanging willows, ancient rock gardens, and tranquil eddies, the Chimehuin, Aluminé and Collón Curá Rivers are breathtaking waterways. But besides their loveliness, these three rivers offer world-class fly fishing that must be experienced to be believed.
Your host and head guide Lucas ____ offers more than three decades of fishing experience on these very waters, sharing his earned wisdom with every Tres Rios guide to ensure your fly fishing expectations are exceeded in every way. Combining this fishy knowledge with top-of-the-line gear—available to guests free of charge—and a fleet of river-ready boats means that all you need to worry about is unfurling that perfect cast to a rising trout.
There’s always a hatch in the rivers of the Collón Curá Valley. It’s the reason this extremely “buggy” place is known for sizzling dry fly action from sizable trout. Terrestrials are the ticket on bright, breezy days while mayflies can pop up at anytime. And then there’s always some caddis around. Caddis imitations are by far the best “plan b” and sometimes a caddis is the only fly you’ll need.
Wade the springs and feeder creeks for unmatched sight-fishing with a dry or dry-dropper. Fish your own way on the various tributaries just a short hike from the lodge. Run-and-gun in a raft or drift boat on the main channels for fast-action fishing on dry flies that can sometimes bring 30-plus fish to the boat in a day. Or maybe probe the deep holes with streamer for that lunker of a lifetime.
